Industry Fast Track
Your Career Deserves More Than Guesswork
You’ve landed your first job in journalism or documentary production. You’re talented, driven, and ready to build something meaningful. But here’s what no one tells you: talent alone won’t get you there.
The industry doesn’t come with a roadmap. You’re left wondering: Am I building the right skills? Am I networking effectively? How do I get from here to where I want to be—without burning out along the way?
This is where I come in.
I’m offering bespoke TV career mentoring for early-career women and nonbinary professionals who want more than just survival—you want a long, satisfying career built on your own terms.
Here’s what we’ll do together:
Over six months of one-on-one mentoring, we’ll work through my three-pillar framework for success:
- How your “no” gets to more “yeses” – learn to set boundaries that protect your energy and open better opportunities.
- How to network and build relationships for longevity – not just contacts, but genuine connections that sustain your career.
- How to manage stress and lead with confidence – because burnout isn’t a badge of honour.
We’ll set your five-year goals, audit your knowledge gaps, review your CV, and identify exactly what experience you need to reach the next level. You’ll get practical industry advice without the bullshit—from someone with over a decade in broadcast journalism and documentary production who’s still actively working in the field.
What I offer:
- Fortnightly sessions for six months
- Honest feedback on blind spots you can’t see from the inside
- Practical steps, not vague inspiration
- Support from someone who knows what you’re up against
What I can’t offer: getting you a job. But I can help you become the kind of professional who gets hired—and stays hired.
Available on Zoom or in person.
If you want to feel confident and secure in your work—not just lucky to be here—let’s talk.
